The Always Open Timer measures how long the car has been driving with

the top open, counting and saving each minute from the moment the top is fully

open and the engine is running. Trips with the top down of up to seven hours

are displayed directly, and the total time is stored by the on-board computer.

Want the top-down experience with none of the turbulence? The wind

deflector for the MINI Roadster is the perfect solution. It is easily attached

between the roll-over bars, and significantly reduces draughts, as well as noise.

Electro-hydraulic soft top control. With the semi-automatic soft top,

the only action that is carried out by hand is securing it to or releasing it from

the windscreen frame. Lowering the roof, including locking it in the open

position, is carried out at the push of a button, as is raising it. This button is

found in the toggle bar on the windscreen frame, directly next to the switch

for the active rear spoiler. The entire process takes less than 10 seconds, and

can even be carried out while the vehicle is in motion, at speeds of up to 20 mph.
